We are now looking for an experienced and strategic Global Sales Director to take full ownership of our global sales organization — from defining its structure and processes to executing growth strategies that expand market presence and drive revenue worldwide.

  • Define the structure of the global sales organization – redesign, and manage the sales team while clarifying individual roles and responsibilities.

  • Define and optimize sales processes that drive desired outcomes, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing the infrastructure and systems that support the long-term success of the sales function.

  • Turn KPIs into action by translating business goals into concrete, measurable plans that drive performance and accountability.

  • Build and optimize scalable sales processes that enable predictable growth and efficiency across global markets (EU, US, Asia).

  • Develop and implement global sales strategies to expand market presence, increase revenue, and achieve sales targets.

  • While leading the team, also remain partially hands-on in managing key sales activities — from lead generation to deal closure — across both direct and indirect channels.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with top-tier multinational clients and distribution partners, expanding the customer base and ensuring long-term satisfaction.

  • Actively participate in international trade fairs and exhibitions (approx. 10 trips per year), primarily in the machine vision and automation sectors.

  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine XIMEA’s sales strategies and ensure sustained commercial success.

  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams to align technical capabilities with customer needs and market opportunities.

  • Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to perform at their best and continuously grow in skills and ownership.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, or related technology fields.

  • Strong strategic thinking and organizational design skills, with the ability to rebuild or restructure global sales teams.

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex international sales cycles and achieving measurable results.

  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to turn strategy into execution.

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both with customers and internal teams.

  • Experience in KPI setting, performance management, and process optimization.

  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

The selection process will begin with a telephone prescreening, followed by an in-person interview at our Marianka office and an online interview in English with the Managing Director of XIMEA GmbH. If necessary, a third interview round may be scheduled.
